67th National Film Awards: 'Jersey' gets two National Awards

The 2019 box-office hit 'Jersey' has received two coveted National Film Awards. The 67th National film awards were announced on Monday. The Nani-Shraddha Srinath starrer has been adjuged the Best Telugu Film.
Navin Nooli, the most sought-after editor of Tollywood, has walked away with the Best Editor National award.
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, 'Jersey' was a family drama where cricket was a motif. It was produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments and had music by Anirudh Ravichander.
Here are the Best films in a few other languages:
Best Hindi film: 'Chhichhore' (Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, it was late Sushant Singh Rajput's last film)
Best Tamil film: 'Asura' (Directed by Vettrimaaran, the film starred Dhanush in the lead. Dhanush has been adjudged the Best Actor).
Best Malayali film: 'Kalla Nottam' (the short-length feature film was critically-acclaimed for its aesthetics)
Best Kannada film: 'Akshi'
