50 Cent could find himself in legal hot water after an incident during his "Final Lap" tour stop at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on August 30th. Videos emerged after the concert showing the rapper angrily throwing his microphone into the crowd not once, but twice. Reports suggest 50 Cent was frustrated because the microphones were malfunctioning.

During the incident, YG, a special guest on the tour, was performing on stage. Pictures circulating online claim that the injured party is Bryhana Monegain, a Power 106 host, who appears in photos with a bloody forehead and an open wound. However, Monegain did not immediately respond to Variety's request for comment.

Scott Leemon, an attorney for 50 Cent, stated, "Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed."

While Leemon defended 50 Cent, the Los Angeles Police Department could not confirm if a police report had been filed regarding the incident at Crypto.com Arena.

This incident follows in the footsteps of Cardi B, who faced a legal battle after throwing a microphone into the crowd during one of her performances. Cardi B had retaliated against a fan who threw a drink at her on stage, inadvertently hitting someone else nearby. Cardi was later cleared of potential battery charges.

Prior to these microphone incidents, there have been instances of concert-goers targeting artists on stage, including Bebe Rexha, Harry Styles, and Latto, who all faced objects thrown at them during their performances.
