Only one out of five releases in the last two weeks of November has clicked. That is S Narayan expensive film ‘Veera Parampare’. In 85 theatres in the 3rd week ‘Veera Parampare’ is sure to run 50 to 100 days in at least 25 theatres while ‘Jackie’ is expected to hit century in 75 years in Karnataka according to the sources available.

Four releases of last two weeks in Kannada have been washed away from the box office. As ‘Jackie’ of the super power star Puneeth Rajakumar is going supreme and has crossed 25 days and made a gross of Rs.30 crores.

The films ‘Gana Bajana’, ‘Gundragovi’ and ‘Yaksha’ have faced utter defeat and all of them are being removed from the main theatres in the third week causing another major drawback to Kannada cinema industry.

‘Kichcha Huchcha’ is vacating from ‘Sagar’ to ‘Huduga Hudugi’ after four weeks and ‘Yaksha’ is vacating from Narthaki to accommodate ‘Eno Onthara’ after two weeks.

Meanwhile ‘Bindhaas Hudugi’ is not able to collect well in Triveni theatre. In the listing ‘Chiru’ starring Chiranjeevi Sarja and Kriti Karbanda has been announced for 19th November.

The two films released last week, ‘Bindhaas Hudugi’ and ‘Shock’ are very poor in collection according to Gandhinagar sources.
