The plot of the film revolves around Shardul Thakur (Rajkummar Rao), a gay police officer and Sumi Singh (Bhumi Pednekar), a lesbian teacher who decide to get married to keep their sexualities a secret. The plot of the film revolves around Srikant Shirodkar (Pratik Gandhi), a standup comedian, Netra Banerjee (Sharmin Segal) and the havoc created in their lives with the presence of Makhan Singh’s (Jackie Shroff) ghost who seems to have a connection with Srikant’s soul from a previous birth.

The film stars Sargun Mehta and Gurnaam Bhullar in leading roles. The plot of the film revolves around two lovers Raja (Gurnam Bhullar) and Roopi (Sargun Mehta) who love each other and hope to get married soon. However, in an unexpected twist, Roopi ends up getting married to someone else. The two lovers then get engaged in a game of one-upmanship, as Raja decides to spoil Roopi's marriage.
