Five eminent cameramen of Kannada filmdom Shekar Chandru, Sathya Hegde, Gnanamurthy, Nandakishor and Rakesh are following the principles of What we give to society is important than what we take from the society`.

All the five very busy cameramen forming C5 Academy to train young and budding cameramen conducting seven chapters training that is completely technical.

For the students it is Rs.15000 per chapter of learning in the presence of five cameramen training. The first batch of students has already got good going. One chapter of training will be in 3 days duration. By the time the students complete all seven chapters they will be thorough with cinematography work. They are allowed to work in director of photography as assistants for a fortnight. Then they are allowed to groom themselves and carve a future.

The second batch is open soon. The fee charged is utilized for equipment rent says Shekar Chandru.

Why this thought has aroused for five cameramen? When we have entered it was very difficult to get an entry. For coming generation the feel of difficulty should not be there replies Shekar Chandru.
