Andhra Pradesh saw 48 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours (as at 11:30 am, Wednesday).  With this, the total number of cases stands at 2,137, while active cases are 948 in number.  Discharged is 1,142 in number, while the Deceased category has got 47 cases.

Guntur (12), Chittoor (11), Kurnool (7), East Godavari (4), Anantapur (3), Krishna (3), Others (8) constitute the new cases.

9284 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

Kurnool is inching closer towards 600 cases, with 591 at present.  Guntur is at 399, while Krishna at 349 is a close third.

73 of the total confirmed cases in the State are in Others category.
