The new Mammootty film on theaters 'Varsham' is raising to status of super hit with impressive collections all across kerala. The movie which was released in 400 theatres world wide is in its fourth week and has amassed much, in fact the double of its capital spent, as profits. The movie also has earned a 4.8 crores as satellite rights which will make it one of the big profit maker of the year.Interestingly the movie was completed in less than five crores, including print and publicity, which will add to its commercial percentages. The movie was produced by Mammootty's own banner Play house.

Earlier Mammootty's' Munnariyippu' which was made in less than three crores was sold for a four crores in satellite rights which also made it a profit maker.
