Andhra Pradesh saw an increase of 71 Covid positive cases in 24 hours (as of 11 am, Thursday). As many as 6497 samples were tested in the 24-hour period. Total positive cases in the State are 1403, while active cases are 1051 in number. Discharged are 321 in number and Deceased are 31.

Out of the 71 cases, 43 are from Kurnool. Krishna saw 10 cases, while Guntur and Kadapa saw 4 cases each. Anantapur and Chittoor saw 3 each, while East Godavari saw 2.

"3/4th of the total COVID-19 positive cases recorded in the State are asymptomatic carriers, with major belonging to below 60 years," the Health Ministry today said.
