Lessons from flops and release of films at wrong timing have not been learnt. With quite a few flops (mainly because of making), this week four films are fighting in the battle of box office. Two is the limit for Kannada cinema market and four is absolutely crowd.
Yogish and Muktha starring a film by technicians ÂDarling is releasing in ÂAlemari fame Santhu direction. This is made in quick time. Santhu keeping aside ÂDove Kannada film has prepared this film in super fast style. It is based on a real life story of a rape and murder in the college campus. TP Siddaraju is a part of investor and that is because his son Yogish is hero. Cameraman Manjunath Naik, music director Arjun Janya and Santhu director of the film are the producers. It is releasing in 200 theatres.
ÂAnjada Gandu a remake of Tamil film ÂManam Kothi Paravai is hitting the silver screen this week. It is a repeat of title of V Ravichandran films of yesteryears. Ninasam Satish and Subiksha are in lead roles of this film. Tamil film ÂManam Kothi Paravai (June 2012 release in Tamil starring Shivakarthikeyan and Aathmiya directed by Ezhil was a romantic comedy). Pradeep Raj who directed Kirataka, Mr 420 Kannada films is also joint producer of latest ÂAnjada GanduÂ.
ÂAmanusha - mystery cum thriller with environment protection added to it ÂAmanusha by Simran Movie Makers in the direction of Jayasimha Musuri and his brother Gurudut Musuri as cameraman is set for release on 31st of January. Four songs for the film were scored by Ajil CJ, Peer Dose is the producer of this film. Tilak and Jackie Shrof, Alisha play lead roles. Giri has written lyrics for this film.
The fourth film releasing this week of ÂVasundhara  a film with terrorism background and social life is the concept of director of high reputation TS Nagabharana. Veteran actors Rajesh, Jayanthi with Aishwarya Nag, Sudharani, Jugari Avinash and others are in the cast. Anjanappa is new producer from this film. Ananth Urs in cinematography and Stephen Prayog music part of this film.
