4 new COVID-19 cases in Kerala on Tuesday

On Tuesday, four more COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Kerala by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan during his sunset briefing. 3 of the new cases are from Kannur district and 1 from Kasaragod. Four patients recovered and tested negative on Tuesday, added the CM.
With this, 485 cases have been reported in the state to date and 123 are still undergoing treatment at various hospitals. Currently, 20,773 are under observation and 151 suspected COVID patients were hospitalized on Tuesday alone. With regards to the lift of lockdown in the state, CM said that after studying the situation in the state, the lockdown exit strategy will be decided by May 3.
