The sudden demise of a 31-year-old resident of Hyderabad in front of a private hospital, on Wednesday, has sent social media users into justified paroxysms. The deceased person Prudhvi Raj collapsed and breathed his last in front of Xenia Multi Speciality Hospital, ECIL. It appears that it was a Covid-19 death and was totally avoidable.

As per a Times Of India report, Prudhvi Raj had been taking treatment at the hospital for breathlessness. He was referred to KIMS Hospital but was not provided with an ambulance facility. As his mother and wife tried to take him via an auto rikshaw, the patient suddenly collapsed and died within minutes.

Prudhvi Raj is survived by his wife, mother, and his infant.

While doctor reports haven't confirmed that he was Covid positive, his last rites were performed as per Covid-related protocols.
