'3' on April 6, 'Saguni' pushed to May!

It was widely reported that ‘3’ featuring Dhanush, Shruti Haasan will see light of the day on March 30. The latest is that the film’s release will take place on April 6. It is also further said that ‘Saguni’ has been pushed to the first week of May!

‘3’ marks the debut of Aishwarya Dhanush as a director in Tamil cinema. The film is red hot in trade thanks to the worldwide success of ‘Kolaveri’ and will be simultaneously releasing Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

The Hindi rights of the film have been bagged by Sony and Sun TV has bagged the satellite rights of ‘3’ in Tamil. It will showcase three stages of love between Dhanush and Shruti.

Karthi’s political satire ‘Saguni’ that boasts off several USPs will showcase him in a never seen before avatar and now with a May release the film will clash with Thala Ajith’s magnum opus ‘Billa 2’ that’s now slated for an April 27 release, as a pre-treat to the Thala fans for his birthday that falls on May 1.
