An action power packed 'Ugram', a soft tale from 'Nan Life Alli' and a horror filled film 'Horror' are hitting the silver screen this Friday – 21st February 2014.

All the three films in Kannada releasing this week are new directors. Ugram by Prashanth Neel who is also producer is a lavish film – it has high expectations for the cast Srimurali who has given a few hits in the past but certainly looking for a breakthrough from this film. The charming Haripriya is female counterpart. In ‘Ugram’ Haripriya plays Nithya who comes from Australia looking for the grave of her mother. As the underworld is main backdrop how the protagonist helps the female protagonist forms the rest. Of course there underworld nexus – heavy action, melodious tunes and topnotch technicians like Ravi Verman who worked as cameraman for ‘Ram Leela’ of Sanjay Leela Bhansali stood behind the camera.

UGRAM - Banner – Inkfinite Pictures, Producer – Prashanth Neel, Direction – Prashanth Neel, Cinematography – Ravi Verman, Music – Ravi Basrur, Cast – Srimurali, Haripriya, Tilak Shekar, Atul Kulkarni, Avinash, Jai Jagadish, Padmaja Rao, Pradip, Sharat, Tunga, Sureschandra and others.

A close relative of noted director Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar – Ramdeep with the help of Nivedhita of Australia has produced and directed this film in Nagathihalli Cine Creations that has good name in the Kannada cinema industry. Santosh Radhakrishna has edited the film, Different Danny in stunts, Vidyasagar choreography, Hosmane Murthy is art director. The film is all about the happening in the life of a person. What is it is interesting to watch. Ram Deep has not left any clue and he was available to media only at the audio release event.

NAN LIFE ALLI - Banner – Nagathihalli Cine Creations, Direction – Ram Deep, Camera – Manohar Joshi, Music – Ajanish Lokanath, Cast – Aneesh, Sindhu Lokanath, Dilipraj, Mithra, Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar, Srinagara Kitty and Ramesh Aravind guest roles.

There are many horror filled films on the silver screen from ‘Exorcist’ days. In Kannada the best so far is ‘Naa Ninna Bidalaare’. This one ‘Horror’ with caption ‘Dare of Die’ with Harish Raj and Roopasri in lead roles is nothing but ‘Devil and Devru’ with some graphic effects. A film with horror elements in the film has no information on the contents to media. Jeevan has edited the film, Tribhuvan is choreographer.

HORROR - Banner – Om Shanthi Vijay Productions, Producer and Director – Vijay Surana, Music – Daniel, Camera – BL Babu, Cast – Harish Raj, Roopasri, Kajal Rawat, Neha Patil, Ravi Chetan.
