'2.0' is on a roll in Hindi. On Sunday, the sci-fi is believed to have collected a nett figure of Rs 30-32 Cr. As of the end of the first weekend, the most expensive movie netted Rs 93-95 Cr. So, by the end of Monday, it will touch one billion rupees easily. This is within India, excluding the collections in other countries.
"The film has emerged as the biggest hit for a Tamil dubbed film in Hindi. Its performance is phenomenal in Bihar, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh," a BO tracker says.
In Telugu, too, the Rajinikanth action-thriller is doing very well in Nizam territory. On Sunday, it made a share of Rs 3.40 Cr, bringing the total in Nizam to about Rs 13.70 Cr. The performance in Andhra Pradesh is good but not to the extent that was desirable. The combined gross has crossed Rs 50 Cr in the two Telugu States.
In the US, the Shankar directed movie has crossed USD 3.3 million (all versions) as of the end of Sunday.
