Shankar's magnum opus and Lyca Productions costliest Indian film ever '2.0' powered by the performances of Superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson has touched the magical 500 Crores collection at the worldwide box office. The film achieved the milestone in exactly a week and that too on a non-holiday season which itself is a great record. The mega flick is showing strong signs of retaining its hold in theaters for atleast another month and the final figures are going to astronomical according to national trade analysts.

In May 2019 '2.0' is going to release in 57000 screens in China which will the make it the highest grossing film ever in Indian cinema as well according to pundits. The project is backed by the strong technical contributions of music director A.R. Rahman, production designer T. Muthuraj, cinematographer Nirav Shah, VFX Supervisor Sreenivasan and editor Antony among others.
