A long time assistant in the camp of Yogaraj Bhat and Dhuniya Soori – Yogi Devaganga comes up with an interesting thriller in ‘2nd Half’ for first time producer Nagesh. Priyanka Upendra is playing constable – Police constable not police commissioner he stresses addressing the media. She represents the middle class woes.

Yogi went with a costume of constable to convince Priyanka Upendra that she can do this film. The film is all about system and police. For the young pair for the film Yogi picked another talent from Upendra house – Niranjan and Surabhi of two films in Kannada. There are nine characters in this film.

Priyanka Upendra was in for surprise when the offer of PC came to her from director Yogi Devaganga. She remains a police constable throughout the film. She has learnt how to ride a TVS vehicle, changed her acting prowess to suit this film. Took up method acting and remained very casual and sensible for the requirement of the film role. The film completion of the film in Navarathri days is happiness for Priyanka Upendra. She feels it as Devi blessing.

Producer Nagesh looking thin has spent a fat budget on this film. he got his confidence increased only after Priyanka Upendra acceptance. It is because of his wife Ambika she ventured to cinema production. He is in to building and construction business.

A rare kind of role coming to me at the door step, Sharat Lohitashva has noticed such offers clicking in the box office. Similar would happen for this film he says with great satisfaction of playing interesting cop role. For Niranjan this is a rough and mass character in debut, Surabhi of Dushta and Jataayu returns to acting after three years in an interesting role.

Shivu is cameraman and Chetan Soska composed three songs for this film.
