Thala Ajith has entered his 28th year in the film industry after his debut in 'Prema Pusthakam' released on July 15th 1993. The mass fans are celebrating the event by trending the hashtag #28YrsOfSELFMADETHALAAjith.

Popular Telugu hero Karthikeya of 'RX 100' fame has posted a special message writing "Coming from a non-filmy background facing many difficulties, many failures, coming out stronger each and every time and becoming THALA of Tamil cinema ..every page in your journey can be taken as an inspiration sir..congratulations on completing 28years"

Though an official announcement has not come Karthikeya is said to be playing the powerful antagonist to Thala Ajith in 'Valimai' directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor. The much-awaited mega flick has around fifty percent shooting pending which will resume as soon as the coronavirus pandemic ends.
