In yet another shocking incidence an FIR has been filed against a casting director on multiple rape charges levelled against him by a 26-year-old television actress. According to the complaint lodged at the Versova police station in Mumbai the casting director and the actress have been friends for the past two years.

The man who is also 26 years old had promised the girl that he would marry her and had a physical relationship with her on several occasions. He later is said to have refused to marry the actress which prompted her to seek legal remedy on November 26th.

Senior police inspector Raghvendra Thakur of the Versova station has told pressmen that the casting director has been booked under IPC 376 (rape) and investigations are on but no arrests have been made yet.
