'Kaaviya Thalaivan' Movie Stills

Yes, you read it right! Not one or two or three, Siddharth will be seen in 25 different looks in his upcoming Vasantha Balan`s period flick Kaaviya Thalaivan`. It is a painful task to design the costumes for a period movie, and the storyline of Siddharth – Prithviraj starrer is a unique one and there aren`t many references available for the film, Says Niranjani Agathiyan – Costume Designer.

“I was shuttling libraries, watched old movies, surfed the internet, and referred a lot of books. The whole experience was quite hectic, but also gratifying. I had to devise the wardrobe for both onstage and offstage scenes in the film. We have used 25 appearances for Siddharth alone with a different set of ornaments for each.” Sigaram Thodu which is getting released on this Friday will mark Niranjani`s debut in K-town as costume designer while she is an integral part of G.V`s Pencil` &Trisha Illana Nayanthara`.
