Full Details of National Awards for Tamil Cinema

Tamil Films have won six National Awards out in the 64th National Awards announced by the Information & Broadcasting Ministry today.
Out of the six, Suriya's production venture and maiden triple role film '24' has won three and 'Joker' has grabbed two while Vijay Sethupathi starrer 'Dharmadurai' has won one National award.

Best Lyricist - Vairamuthu
Apart from this noted Film Producer, Analyst and Columnist G.Dhananjayan has won the National Award for Best Film Critic for his columns and articles on popular newspapers and weekly magazines.
