The Australia Kannada Sangha Members maiden venture '24 Hours in Melbourne' will be shot for 30 days within the Melbourne city, beaches and the country clubs. The story is about the incidents that happen in 24 hours among the five friends headed by Girish and Hemanth on SPR Productions banner. The shooting for this film begins from March 10th and will be completed in a single schedule.

Tina Ponnappa, the national award winner for the Tamil film 'Meera' plays the female lead with Girish and Venki. B.S. Sanjay has planned for a schedule of 30 days for the talkie portions and three songs to be shot. Sanjay who had earlier directed four films 'Meghana', 'Sinchana', 'Nimma Shanker Nag' and 'Aa Ondhu Kanasu' in Kannada, is taking up a suspense thriller this time.

Hemanth, a Tool Maker in Australia and Girish, a finance broker and real estate agent in Australia with strong cultural background with three other friends are producing this unique titled Kannada film on a budget of Rs.2 crore. BL Babu is the cameraman and Sanjeev M scores three songs for this film. Venki, Sharma, Chandrasekhar, Shashidhar, Reeta, Lee are also in the cast.
