The prestigious 22nd edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) will be held during 8-15 December 2017 in Thiruvananthapuram. Delegate Fee has been increased to Rs 650 while for student delegates the charge will be Rs 350. Delegate Registration will begin on November 10. Delegate registration for each category will be as follows - students: 10-12 November, general public: 13-15 November, film & TV Professionals: 16-18 November, film society activists: 19-21 November and media: 22-24 November.

The Festival will have 14 theatres as venues. Due to safety concerns, entry will be allowed according to the number of seats in each theatre. Hence, no delegate will be allowed to watch films either standing or sitting on the floor. Altogether there are only 8000 seats in 14 theatres. Hence, only 10,000 delegate passes will be issued this year. The pass allocation: General category – 7,000, Students – 1,000, Film & Television Professionals – 1,000, Media – 5,00, Film society members – 500.
