The latest update is that Telugu star Pawan Kalyan has secured a victory as an MLA in the Pithapuram constituency. His Jana Sena Party won all 21 seats it contested, emerging as the second-largest party in Andhra Pradesh.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut won a Lok Sabha seat on behalf of the BJP with a margin of 74,755 votes in the Mandi constituency. Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi, who contested for the BJP, won in the Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency by a significant margin of 74,686 votes. Veteran actress Roja, who contested for YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh, suffered a significant defeat.
