From the stunning diva, Anushka has underwent a remarkable transformation to become an out-and-out action heroine. The actress has lost weight, but gained strength and command over martial arts, sword fighting and horse riding. No wonder, the South Indian film industry is convinced to invest a whooping 200 crore rupees in her upcoming films. The most expensive of her three current projects is director Rajamouli's 'Bahubali' in the making on a 100 crores; the film sees Anushka playing a warrior princess, sharing the screen and a lot of action sequences with Rana and Prabhas. 'Rudramadevi' is a Tolly-Kolly bilingual guided simultaneously in both the languages, by director Gunasekhar.
This one is a first of its kind, for it is the first ever 3D stereoscopic film, in which Anushka plays the brave Kakatiya warrior princess Rani Rudrama Devi and Rana Dagubatti plays the brave queen's husband, Chalukya Veerabhadra. This film is rumoured to be made at a cost of 15 crores. Our very own Kollywood is no less in observing the actress' talent, as Anushka was roped in by director Selvaraghavan for a romantic fantasy based on Sufism and Zen philosophy, starring Anushka opposite Arya, in one of the most expected films of the year - 'Irandam Ulagam'.
