'2.0' trouble: Rajinikanth's makers ready for legal battle?
Send us your feedback to audioarticles@vaarta.com
'2.0' is one of the most-delayed projects ever. Even after the makers spent Rs. 12 Cr on its audio release function, the magnum opus had to be postponed from January to April. This is something no production company would have wanted. The makers of the Rajinikanth-Shankar wonder are in an unenviable situation because of the unprecedented delay.
It's now being reported that Lyca Productions is seeking to deal a stern lesson to those responsible for the delay! Reportedly, it's a US-based Vfx company which is the villain!
It's learned that this company took more than what it could swallow. It gave an undertaking to complete the Vfx work for so and so shots in such and such time. But it just couldn't wrap up its task, causing a huge delay.
Lyca Productions now wants to drag to it courts in the US by filing a law suit. Will they recover some of the financial costs incurred because of the delay?
