Superstar Rajinikanth's '2.0' directed by Shankar has been censored and the CBFC has awarded it a UA certificate. It has already been reported that the film has a crisp running time of just 100 minutes which is a departure for the director who is known for mostly churning out lengthy fares. The release date for India's costliest film ever has been locked on November 29th this year.
'2.0' has Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson sharing screen space with Superstar Rajinikanth with A.R. Rahman scoring the music, Nirav Shah handling the camera, Antony the editing and T. Muthuraj the production design. Subashkaran is producing under his banner Lyca Productions and has pumped in a mammoth 550 Crore rupees into this Sci-fi action entertainer with a strong universal message.
