Uthiramerur based couple Venkatesan and Kaliyamma who had lost their child three months back, have got her back after three months of frantic search operations. Venkatesan and Kaliyamma who belong to Manampathi village have a 2 year old daughter named Harini, who went missing before three months. Following this, police, non governmental organisations, social activists, and lot of people had started searching Harini via Internet posts and notices.

However, they were not receiving any proper information of the whereabouts of the child, and they received only fake calls demanding money. Getting to known the plight of the parents, Latha Rajnikanth had contacted them and informed that she had noticed a child bearing striking resemblance to Harini in Mumbai railway station, and consoled them that Harini can be rescued soon.

However, Harini was not found in Mumbai, and was later found at Thiruporur,as she was rescued from a person named Prakash. After investigation by cops, he had revealed that as his friend's wife Sangeetha could not give birth to a child, he had kidnapped Harini who was sleeping, and sold her for 5 lakhs. Sangeetha was then enquired, and it was found that her husband has been missing. Prakash has been arrested, and the parents thanked cops for rescuing their child.
