Within two months of 'Gunday' and 'Highway', Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are seeing another film of theirs release in the form of '2 States'. The film has seen some good curiosity built up amongst its target audience i.e. youth in cosmopolitan cities. This means that one can well expect a good opening at multiplexes of all major cities on its arrival this Friday, what with 50%-60% occupancy on the cards.

Success of their last outings has given good impetus to the box office standing of both Arjun and Alia, something which would help the cause of '2 States'. Since the base material of the film (Chetan Bhagat's bestselling novel) already comes with a very good recall value as well as continued appreciation, one expects a good entertain in the offering by first time director Abhishek Varman. If he actually manages to pull off a good cinematic experience, '2 States' has in it to find some continued audience for itself in days to follow.

Another release of the week is 'Dekh Tamasha Dekh' which boasts of a topical theme (politics and elections). A word of mouth affair, it would primarily rely on good all around reviews from critics as well as audience alike. The film would see a select release for itself though considering the fact that it has Eros backing it, one can see some good show timings for this Feroz Abbas Khan affair.

Third release of the week is 'Lucky Kabootar' which is finally turning lucky and hitting the screens now after being pushed ahead a couple of times. The first challenge for the film would be to procure an all-India arrival and some good screens/show timings for itself.
