'2 States', starring Adivi Sesh and Shivani Rajasekhar in lead roles, is directed by debutant Venkat Kuncham. The rom-com, an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel '2 States: The Story Of My Marriage', is produced by MLV Sathyanarayana (Sattibabu) on Lakshya Productions (Production No. 1).
The makers are happy that the film's second schedule has been successfully wrapped up. "We shot the schedule, which involved the lead pair, Bhagya Sree, Rajat Kapoor, Liji and Aditya Menon, in Kolkata at a stretch for 15 days. The shooting has been going on as planned since April first week. The first schedule was canned in Hyderabad," the producer says.
What about the next schedule? "Starting June 7, the third one will be shot in Hyderabad. Director Venkat is doing a great job in making '2 States' a thorough entertainer. It's a beautiful, cute, romantic love story," the producer adds.
"We are very happy with the progress. Just as the novel '2 States' was enjoyable and gripping, so also will our film be," director Venkat says, exuding confidence.
