2 Releases 4 launches in 2 days

Two Kannada films ‘Gilli’ the debut of star cum politician Jaggesh son Gururaj and Rakul Preeth Singh in the lead and ‘Ninagagi Kadhiruve’ the debut direction of famous stunt director Jolly Bastin starring Pooja Gandhi, Vishal Hegde and Dilipraj are out in the middle with earlier weeks half a dozen Kannada films occupying the maximum of theatres.

‘Gilli’ a remake of Tamil film ‘7 G Rainbow Colony’ is produced by Jayanna, Anaji Nagaraj and Vijaykiran and it is directed by Raghav Loki who made debut from ‘Sathya in Love’. Yuvan Shanker Raja has scored the music for ‘Gilli’.

Two top rated cameramen P Rajan and S Krishna both are state award winning have handled the camera for ‘Ninagagi Kadhiruve’ and ‘Gilli’ respectively. Robin Gurang is the music director for Jolly Bastin film ‘Ninagagi Kadhiruve’.

What is notable is that in two days two films release and four new launches of Kannada films are taking place in Bangalore. The films like ‘Prithvi’ starring power star Puneeth Rajakumar and Parvathi Menon of the famous ‘Milana’ hit pair, ‘Kalgejje’ by debutant Bangaru starring Vishwas and Roopika, ‘Shanker IPS’ starring Vijay the macho hero for producer K Manju and ‘Preethiyindha Ramesh’ by director Gunakumar (this title is derived from television serial anchored by Ramesh Aravind) starring Ramesh Aravind in the lead are going on the floor in Bangalore.

There are nearly twenty Kannada films in the queue waiting for release of top stars like Dr Vishnuvardhana, Upendra, Ramesh Aravind, Puneeth Rajakumar, Darshan, Sudeep, Ramya, Premkumar and others.
