Generally it is common for big budget Tamil films with leading stars to have a whirlwind promotional tours across the state and even to other states. The promotional tour for Superstar Rajinikanth's ucpoming sci-fi entertainer '2.0' the makers seems to have planned for a 'World Tour'!.

The latest update for Raju Mahalingam, the Creative Head of Lyca Productions is that the World Tour for the promotion of '2.0' will kick start soon. This is going to be really gigantic for a mammoth project like '2.0' which is being reportedly made at a cost of Rs.400 crores. The name of the countries to which the '2.0' team will be visiting is retained as a suspense as of now.

Directed by Shankar, the film which is the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster 'Enthiran' is currently in its post production stage. The film stars Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and AmyJackson along with Rajinikanth. Isaipiuyal A.R.Rahman who is extremely popular as a International film composer is scoring music for this film.

'2.0' is scheduled to hit the screens on January 25, 2018 and the makers are planning a mega audio launch event in October and a trailer release on Thalaivar's birthday falling on December 12th.
