Bollywood's handsome actor Sudhanshu Pandey has earlier acted as a suave villain in Thala Ajith's 'Billa 2'. Now he has made a comeback to Kollywood playing one of the villains in Superstar Rajinikanth's mega budget sci-fi flick '2.0'.
In his exclusive interview to IndiaGlitz, Sudhanshu shared his experiences working with the Superstar and the Super Director Shankar.
About getting the '2.0' offer
"I got a call through a casting agent and they had already seen what i did in Billa. I think Shankar sir liked it and he wanted to find out if I would like to do the film. Obviously when I got a call asking if I would like to, I was obviously laughing because who would not want to work with Shankar sir and be a part of a film with Rajinikanth sir. That is how it started and I have already finished shooting for the film.
About his role in '2.0'
I am playing a villain in the film. I am playing a scientist. The film is a science fiction like everybody knows.
About working with Shankar
The experience of having worked with Shankar sir, he is less of a director, he is more of a scientist.
About working with Rajinikanth
Obviously my ultimate experience is with Rajinikanth sir. I have said this about him earlier in a tweet and I don't mind repeating it as many times that if there is a God in human form, it is Rajinikanth. He is absolutely phenomenal, not as an actor, not as a star but as a human being. I think his biggest success, or the biggest reason behind his success or the level of stardom that he's seen is because he is an amazing human being. He is the most humble person that you can ever imagine. After having reached that height, it is next to impossible to be so humble and so humane that he is. I am completely in love with Rajini sir and he 's really been very supportive and he really appreciated all the work.
On getting appreciated by the Superstar
Every time I did a scene in front of him. he would clap and appreciate. For me it's been probably like winning a gold medal in Olympics.
We were doing a very crucial scene where I have to stand up and speak a very long dialogue. So at the end of my dialogue when the director said "cut", Rajini sir clapped and he looked at me and did this double thumbs up. And for me it was the moment of my life. How many people do really get to experience a Rajinikanth clapping for them and giving them a thumbs up for their performance. So for me it has been a blessing to have worked with him and got that appreciation from him.
