2.0' Day 1 share in AP/TS: Disappointment

'2.0', released worldwide in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi amid high expectations, has put up a very modest show in the Telugu States on Day 1 (Thursday). It could pull off a distributor share of only Rs 12.45 Cr in AP and TS. This is a disappointment.
In Nizam, its share is Rs 4.73 Cr, whereas in Ceeded, it's Rs 1.90 Cr. Uttarandhra has given Rs 1.65 Cr. Guntur's Rs 1.02 Cr, East Godavari's Rs 0.96 Cr, West Godavari's Rs 0.75 Cr, Krishna's Rs 0.70 Cr and Nellore's Rs 0.73 Cr complete the figure.
The opening collections of this Rajinikanth-Shankar movie don't compare well with this year's big hits like 'Rangasthalam' and 'Bharat Ane Nenu'. It's well beyond even a flop like 'Naa Peru Surya'.
Considering that 'Kaala' could collect only Rs 7 Cr in its entire run, the openings are relatively encouraging.
