As per the latest reports, Mohanlal's new movie '1971 Beyond Borders' directed by Major Ravi will have a major release in Kerala. Produced by Haneef Mohammed for Red Rose Creations, the upcoming war-drama will hit the big screens on April 7 as a Vishu release. Going by reports, the movie will be released in about 170 screens in Kerala alone, on April 7.

The outside Kerala theatre count is expected to be revealed soon. The release date and theatre count fof Tamil and Telugu version of the movie are expected to be announced later. However, it is predictable that the theatre count is going to be no way lesser!

The Mohanlal starrer movie is the first Malayalam venture to have specially designed a virtual reality experience. As the team has left no stone unturned to promote the movie, the hype around war-drama is increasing day-by-day.

'1971 Beyond Borders' is the fourth installment in the Major Mahadevan series. Asha Sarath plays the female lead in the film, along with Allu Sirish, Sudheer Karamana, Renji Panicker, Saiju Kurup and Bollywood actor Arunoday Singh playing important roles.
