Sam Kanizay, 16, after playing football on Saturday decided to soak his legs at Dendy Street Beach in Brighton, Australia. Minutes later, he felt a tingling sensation in his legs and mistaking it for leg sore ignored . But to his horror when he pulled his leg up it was covered with blood and flesh wounds. Doctors were petrified and his father Jarrod decided to investigate.
Jarrod Kanizay, put a slab of meat in a fishing net and went for a swim and to his horror he found a swarm of lice like bugs fixing onto the flesh and sucking the blood out. The bugs have been taken to a lab and tests are being conducted to ascertain their species. Marine expert Michael Brown suggested they could be 'jellyfish larvae'.
