Man who raped and killed 16 year old arrested

The recent rape and murder of a 16 year old girl in Jharkhand has shocked the entire nation. The main suspect Dhanu Bhuiyan who has been hiding in a relative’s house was arrested by the police. 

Reportedly Bhuiyan was angered when he was asked to do 100 sit ups and a fine of Rs.50,000 by the village council. Then Bhuiyan and his comrades attacked the girl’s parents before setting their home on fire. The CM of Jharkhand Raghubar das has called for a stringent punishment and has assured a cash relief of Rs.1,00,000 to the girl’s family.

As of now 15 persons have been arrested by the police including the village chief for giving a judgement which led to a crime. The girl’s family has also been given special protection by the police.
