Woman rides scooter for 1400 km to save stranded son!

A Telangana woman rode a scooter for 1400 km for three days despite the nationwide lockdown to bring back her son stranded son in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.

48 year old Razia Begum, a school headmistress at a government school started her journey on Monday after getting local police permission and drove Nellore and came back with her younger son on Wednesday evening.

Razia Begum said that it was a difficult journey but shs was determined to bring her son back and she had packed rotis to eat during the travel. Razia Begum lost her husband before 15 years and lives with her two sons - one of them an engineering graduate, and 19-year old Nizamuddin, whom she picked up from Nellore. Nizamuddin had been to Rahamatabad in Nellore to drop his friend and with the lockdown creating fear, Razia decided to travel by herself and bring him back home.
