A fourteen year old girl living in Kareela village in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh went out at night to gather dried leaves and grass to burn and use as mosquito repellents at her house. She was abducted by 39 year old Reshu Ahirwar and 24 year old Punit Ahirwar who forced her with a knife and took her to a nearby placed and sexually molested her.

The teen victim shouted for help and was heard by her pet dog which rushed to the spot and bit Reshu on the leg and did not let him go even after Punit attacked with the knife. The dog's continued barking brought the villagers to the spot and the rapists escaped.

The cops caught Aishu and Punit and booked for rape and abduction and also under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The neighbours said that the life of the little girl was saved by the dog and everyone including the police are lauding the hero with five senses.
