118 has edge-of-the-seat moments: Makers

The trailer launch event of '118' was held on Friday in Hyderabad. The event was graced by the cast and crew members.

Speaking on the occasion, dialogue-writer Mirchi Kiran said, "The trailer is slick, stylish and interesting. Just like the trailer, the film, too, will be very engaging. It has got edge-of-the-seat moments. I can't wait to watch the movie once more. Kalyan Ram garu is so stylish. The writing department has done a better-than-expected job."

Music director Shekhar Chandra said, "It's very rare that one gets to do a film which offers vast scope to come up with novel background score. I have learned a lot working with KV Guhan (director) garu. '118' is an intense, emotional thriller."

Nivetha Thomas said, "This was a challenging film to do. I had to work a lot in a short time for this one. The entire unit put in a lot of hard work. You have to watch the movie to know what is the meaning of the title. Guhan garu has done an extraordinary job with the cinematography."

Producer Mahesh Koneru said, "I thank Kalyan Ram garu and Guhan garu for this film. They have delivered a very good product. It gave me a lot of satisfaction to do the movie. I can be proud of this special product. We are very confident about its success. The performances of actors, the technical departments - they are all amazing. Shekhar Chandra garu has given wonderful music."

Director KV Guhan said, "The film has a thrilling point. I am happy to have made a good film in the Telugu film industry. I thank the makers for accepting my story immediately. The entire story revolves around Nivetha Thomas' character. Everybody is going to talk about her performance. Kalyan Ram garu has been a great one to work with. I thank producer Koneru garu."

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram said, "I thank Nivetha for doing the film. She has done a very good job, she is going to make the audience cry. Guhan garu has handled four departments: story, screenplay, cinematography and direction. This is the kind of story that happens in everyone's life. It's just that we don't know. As a director, he had a clear vision. I never felt that I was working with a new director. I had wanted to produce the movie under NTR Arts. But when Mahesh Koneru listened to the story, he was excited as much as I was. He got ready to bankroll the movie himself. RR has come out really well."

The movie releases on March 1.
