Music composer James Vasanthan is clearly on a roll these days. Following his successful score in 'Subramaniapuram', the Television anchor turned music composer has returned with another chartbuster, Pasanga. The film, which is running to packed houses, is specially noticed for its background score and the song “Anbale Azhagagum Veedu’, which has been sung by Balamuralikrishna.

And now, the composer is all poised to return with 'Yathumagi'. “If I had agreed to offers that I received soon after 'Subramaniapuram' was released, I would be doing more than 11 films now. But I have insisted on listening to the film’s storyline and picking films. That is how I picked 'Yathumagi',” says the composer, who assures that the film will be a 100-day success. “I said this to the respective filmmakers even as I did 'Subramaniapuram' and 'Pasanga'. They have turned to be true. Likewise, I am sure 'Yathumagi' will also be a super hit,” says the composer.

“Instead, I have agreed to do seven films in four languages now, four in Tamil, one each in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, all with scripts I am happy to be part of,” says the composer, who is working on 'Naanayam' and 'Kavalar Kudiyiruppu'.
