11 apps removed by Google Play Store after Joker malware strikes

The Joker malware, which was in the news in 2019 after it gamed the smartphone systems across the world, is back. Researchers at Check Point have reportedly spotted a new variant of the malware. This time, they are calling it Joker Dropper and Premium Dialer spyware. The malware has affected Google Play Store, infecting not just illegitimate apps but also legitimate ones.
What are the dangerous ill-effects of the new variant? It can clandestinely download additional malware to your smartphone. Besides, it can go about affecting the infected device by subscribing to a number of premium services without the user's consent.
The following apps have been removed by Play Store, following the discovery of the malware:
