With his last few films, Vicky Kaushal has cemented his place in the Bollywood. His fans have been desperately waiting to witness him in the role of Sardar Udham Singh since a really long time. Fortunately, the release date of the film 'Sardar Udham' has been announced. Not only that, Vicky also treated his fans by sharing a teaser of the film. It is going to release on 16th of October on Amazon Prime Video.

The teaser shared by Vicky features closeup shots of some fake passports being forged. It is implied that Shaheed Udham Singh had multiple passports at his disposal in order to fool the British Empire. Sound of a gun being loaded and fired can be heard in the background which pretty much establishes the central theme of the film.

Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the film will follow the titular character Udham Singh, who travelled to London in 1940 and assassinated General O'Dwyer, who was responsible for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The filming was wrapped up in 2019 itself but makers took almost 2 years in the post production.
