Boddu Devi Kiran who distributed several films in the Uttarandhra region is turning a producer with the dubbing version of national award winning director Blessie's controversial, yet critically acclaimed Malayalam film 'Kalimannu' remembered for its LIVE photography of labor and delivery. The film has Shwetha Menon, Biju Menon and Sunil Shetty in the lead roles. The film is yet to be titled in Telugu and dubbing works are going on.

Devi Kiran said 'This is the life story of a girl who travels all over from Kerala to Mumbai to make her dreams real but falls into several troubles, meets several people and watches herself transform into a woman, a mother. The LIVE delivery scenes will be the highlight of the film and our endeavor is to bring a good film to Telugu audiences. The recording of songs has started in Karunakar studio supervised by composer Vijaya Chandran'
