Yes, Venky is pencilled to play the legendary character, in a big budget movie to be directed by the veteran Raghavendra Rao. Chiranjeevi groupie Aswini Dutt will direct the movie, which is all set to go to floors.

The film will have some of the top names in the industry playing a part in it. The heroines will be from the top drawer; Genelia and Shriya will be playing important roles in the film and the music will be by Mani Sharma.

Venky is said to be very thrilled to be playing this role.
