'Vishwaroopam' of Kamal Hassan that released earlier this year could create as much controversy at the Box Office success. The actor-director Kamal Hassan who is undoubtedly one of the most versatile and respected actors of Indian cinema was held for ransom by some organizations in the name of some remarks on their community and more importantly, the state Government handled the issue with insensitivity and indifference to the film and its producer Kamal Hassan who had cried talking about it in a pressmeet.

He also contemplated releasing the film DTH but had to succumb to the pressures of the distributors. Amidst all the storm, the film, after its release could muster great support from the audience and went on to gross decently well at the Box Office. Recently, he announced that he would try the strategy for the sequel of the film ‘Vishwaroopam 2’. The case is in the distributors’ court and will be interesting to see how they would respond to Kamal’s call.

Now, news is that the film has finished its shooting part, casting Kamal Hassan, Vahida Rehman, Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar and Andriya apart from several others from the first part. While the first part of the story happened in the US, the second revolves around the drama in India, chasing the villain who’s flown to India in the end of first part. The action packed spy thriller is now in the post production phase and the makers are planning to launch trailers of the film soon.

Actor Udayanidhi Stalin who happened to see the trailers at the studio has tweeted saying they are mind-blowing and only Ulaganayagan can create such wonder on screen. The audience are already waiting for the second part of the film ever since the actor has announced it. Watch this space for more Vishwaroopam news...
