Sekhar Kammula has stood out as one of the most respected independent filmmakers in Telugu with films like 'Happy Days', 'Godavari' and 'Anand' making huge inroads into audience's imagination and creating a niche for himself in Tollywood. Now, a film titled 'Dil Deewana' is being made by Sekhar's disciple Tumma Kiran and produced by Raja Reddy on Sri Bhavana Films banner. The film has almost finished the shooting part with only two songs left to be canned.

Director said 'At the outset, I would like to thank mu guru Sekhar Kammula and then my producer Raja Reddy who gave me my break as director. Raja Arjun Reddy and Rohit Reddy are playing the male leads in the film while Abha Singhal and Neha Pandey are the heroines. Though they are debutants, their performance for the camera was so matured. Naga Babu is doing a pivotal role, the Jabardast team, Dhan Raj, Venu and Raghava have done their parts very well and will bring the house down. Title 'Dil Deewana' has been finalized to the unit members’ liking and we plan to launch the audio in November and release the film by the year end'
