Siddharth sure knows to make hay when the sun shines.

The young star of Boys has proved that he is a talent to watch. Siddharth, a MBA, who started his career as an assistant to director whiz Mani Rathnam, also consolidated his position with a gritty performance in Yuva.

With a cute, yuppie kind of look, he is in good demand among makers of trendy, love films.

So quietly, Siddharth, who did both Boys and Yuva for a pittance, has niftily hiked his price to over Rs.25 lakh. He is currently doing the directorial debut of Prabhu Deva.

Producers who want to sign him are put off at the price that he is quoting.

But Siddharth is not ready for a discount.

His theory is simple: If you pay peanuts, you will get only monkeys.
