Some filmmakers are bit superstitious when it’s the matter of being successful And filmmaker Harish Shankar can be counted in the list

The director, who is currently shooting NTR starrer 'Ramayya Vastavayya' in Pollachi, is said to be sharing some sentiments with the location. Apparently Harish Shankar considers Pollachi as his lucky charm. It can be noted that the 'Mirapakay' famed director achieved a star status with the release of ‘Gabbar Singh, which in fact was shot in Pollachi. And so, he felt that shooting 'Ramayya Vastavayya' in same location would bring success to the project as well.

So, after finishing shooting in Melukote near Mandya in Karnataka, the team moved on to Pollachi to shoot some important scenes there.

To be slated for release on 27th September, 'Ramayya Vastavayya' has Samantha and Shruti Haasan playing female leads while Dil Raju is the producer.
