Kamal Haasan has been planning to make a film titled 'Bitter Chocolate' and planned to rope in his daughter Shruthi Haasan as the heroine for this movie.

Shruthi Haasan has shocked her father by saying no to the project saying she has no dates at the moment.

"I am not a part of my Bitter chocolate with my father. I am both sad and happy to say that I have no dates at the moment", she said.

In Telugu, Shruthi Haasan is currently acting in Raviteja's 'Balupu' and Ramcharan's 'Yevadu'. She is yet to act in a special role in NTR- Harish Shankar film and the lead heroine in Allu Arjun - Surender Reddy's film.
