Lakshmi Manchu's ambitious film, Gundelo Godari, has been censored. It has been awarded U/A. The film is slated for Feb 21 release.

The film has been delayed for long now. It is talked about for its theme, the ensemble cast and Maestro Illayaraja's music.

Tapsee Pannu hopes that the film will give her the image of a Telugu girl. If Jhummandi Nadam and later releases portrayed her as a glamorous heroine, she is playing a traditional girl's role here. Sundeep Kishan, too, hopes that the film will fetch him more laurels than he had received for his Prasthanam act.

Adi Pinisetty and Lakshmi Manchu are playing two other crucial roles. Murali Mohan, Annapurna, Jeeva, Ravi Babu, Praveen, Dhan Raj, Mumaith Khan are part of the cast.

Art is by Murali Kondeti. Cinematography is by Palani Kumar. Lyrics are by Chandrabose, Ananth Sriram and Ramu. Kumar Nagendra is the director and story, screenplay and dialogue writer.
